I had a relatively small job using my own design choices and Nick was happy to work with me. He was great to work with and his team and sub-contractors did a great job. I got new countertops in the kitchen and two baths, new sinks & faucets, new gas cooktop and a totally new shower. We purchased a home that Hovick Design had recently remodeled. We were so impressed by the quality of the work and now enjoy living in our new home. After moving in, we had Hovick Design complete some further custom work - cabinetry, a window, screen doors etc. After that we had Hovick Design design and build a pergola room outside our bedroom. All the work was top rate and high quality. I enjoyed working with Nick and his crew and totally recommend the company.

Hovick Design did a full remodel of my kitchen and bath. They also rebuilt my laundry room and drywalled one of my bedrooms. The house is 100 years old but this did not even phase them. My wife and I would highly recommend Hovick Design for any remodeling project. He is a consummate professional with a discriminating eye for quality design, materials, and workmanship. His crew, especially his foreman, Jim Le Blanc, were also an impressive lot. They never took shortcuts or shirked their work or responsibilities. They were also very respectful and considerate of our privacy. Our house was beset with decades of neglect compounded with previous shoddy design, materials, and workmanship that was starting to render the residence non-habitable and failing to adequately meet the increasing needs of a debilitated elderly parent, who is receiving constant care. Over the course of many months, Nick was able to magically transform a rather dreadful and inadequate, shabby hovel into a pleasant, homey abode full of endearing charm. The transformation was astonishing, considering the very poor condition of the residence that were beginning to get increasingly dire with each passing month. But Nick rode to the rescue. We especially liked the proposals he made to resolve the many shortcomings of the residence. And not once did Nick ever sacrifice quality as he worked with us to keep the project within budget. Naturally, when a contractor tackles a project to remake an old residence bereft of any compliance with the standard building codes for habitability, he's going to uncover a host of problems - a can of worms is a more apt description as we were to discover about our quirky old home. Whenever this would happen, Nick would always present us with several low cost solutions/options without sacrificing quality. Because of the continuous methodical and conscience consultation, that he aptly demonstrated to us throughout the entire process, to maximize the renovation as originally budgeted, we were able to address the many other critical shortcomings of the residence that we initially did not think was possible. The result was a metamorphosis nothing short of a miracle. Not only is the house meeting the essential building codes required for a habitable residence, but it also meets the critical needs of an elderly parent that needs constant supervision and care. But the house is more than a serviceable domicile redesigned for a more efficient utilitarian function. Did the work as advertised

Nick spent many hours discussing our project with us and working with us to visualize what we wanted. .Nick worked w/us on ordering the appliances and the start of work to meet our schedule. The crew was quality conscious and did a great job in the time frame we agreed upon. The crew kept us involved in the day to day work to make sure we got what we wanted. The attention to detail was great as with any required adjustments so that everything went as planned. They would clean up after themselves which made living in a small home much easier. Highly recommend Nick and his team!

It was a pleasure to work with Nick on our project. It was a complete kitchen remodel. We love how he designed our cabinetry and the layout to get the most out of the space. I had multiple doors in the house that did not seal properly and were letting cold air in. Upon looking at my problem, they were able to offer me a solution at a reasonable price. It was important to me that for this particular item it was done in the highest quality way possible. In our discussions we decided to make some changes which caused an increase in materials and time. I felt that they did a good job communicating how my additional demands might influence the cost. Like many homeowners, you are concerned with what things will cost. I feel that they responded to my desire for the outcome to look as if the doors were brand new and were able to share with me the additional time and materials that would take.
